Fixed Price Adjudication (all amounts are GST inclusive).
Adjudicate Today offers fixed price adjudication* for small claims.
Where the progress claim does not exceed $5,000, the total fee is $660.00. This fee covers:
- The application fee;
- The fees and expenses of the adjudicator; and
- GST.
Where the progress claim ranges between $5,001 and $15,000, the total fee is $1,100. This fee covers:
- The application fee;
- The fees and expenses of the adjudicator; and
- GST.
*Notes:
- Except as provided by section 26 of the Act, the claimant cannot unilaterally withdraw an adjudication application. If both parties agree to terminate the adjudication, both must give written notice to Adjudicate Today.
- If the Adjudicator, after perusing the adjudication application and the respondent's adjudication response, if any, decides a conference is necessary, Adjudicate Today will organise the conference in consultation with the parties as to preferred date and time.
- Parties can have a lawyer prepare submissions to the adjudicator however the Act prohibits legal representation at any conference or inspection. Legal costs are not recoverable under the Act.
- If an adjudication certificate is required, a fee of $110 is charged.
- All quoted prices include GST.
- Any disbursements are charged at cost.
- All fees are current as at 1 January 2012.
