The Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act 2009 received Royal Assent on 10 December 2009. The Act commenced operation on Saturday 10 December 2011.
The Act is similar to the New South Wales legislation but there are some minor variations.

Adjudicate Today has been appointed an Authorised Nominating Authority (ANA) to nominate adjudicators in South Australia.
Hon. John Rau, Deputy Premier and Minister for Business Services and Consumers, has appointed Adjudicate Today to provide the services of an ANA under the Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act 2009. The appointment is effective 13 January 2012.
We thank the Minister for his confidence and look forward to assisting all parties in the SA building and construction industry utilise and understand the new security of payment legislation.
